Hoopsters is a series of fun infused clinics for all of Natick’s Kindergarten through 3rd grade children. The focus is on basketball fundamentals (shooting, dribbling and passing) in a non-competitive environment. We aim to get kids excited about basketball and expose them to skills with drills, contests and small games.
Hoopsters includes four grade specific sessions – K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade – with tailored grade appropriate curriculums. Hoopsters is not a competitive travel basketball league.
For the K, 1st and 2nd graders, we focus on grade appropriate skills and small games each week with the kids playing on 8.5 ft basketball hoops.
In our dedicated 3rd grade session we expand our focus to include both individual and game skills with time dedicated to 3 v 3 basketball games each week.
